Name of Site: Upgate Common (Swannington).
Location: Take the Reepham Road out of Norwich, just before Alderford turn right onto Broad Lane, then right down to Upgate.

Access to the site: Car parking on edge of common by village sign.

Description: Common with a mixture of oak, scrub, grassland and marsh.
Managed by Norfolk Wildlife Trust and their flying flock of rare breed sheep. Wet site with a network of footpaths including boardwalk, can form part of a circular walk back to Upgate via Swannington.
Wellingtons walking boots recommended.
