Description: Oak and birch woodland with heathland.
An interpretation panel with information about the Heath is located in Zak's car park.
Norwich City Council is currently in the process of restoring areas of Heathland, work undertaken involves sensitive tree removal and annual management of bracken and gorse.
Network of paths on both sides of Gurney road, uneven with tree roots, steep wet and muddy in places. A firm path leads to St James Hill off Britannia Road with great views over the City.
