Norfolk County Council are also producing a series of self-led walk book containing routes for various towns and villages around the county. These are ideal for when you have the time to walk by yourself or with friends and family. For more information contact the environment team on 01603 222769 or environment@norfolk.gov.uk.

We shortly hope to also have additional information here for finding the meeting points for some of our walks. Watch this space!

To join the Norwich Fringe Health Walks, you need to print and complete a short questionnaire, please "Click Here" (77k) (Updated September 2005)

The schedule of walks is now in a table format. Each month's table contains the date, time, walk name, level and meeting point. The meeting points refer to the numbered meeting points shown in the information booklet.

Some meeting points have several walks starting from that location so you will also need to observe the other information including: level, gradient, whether stiles are present, suggested footwear and what sort of surface to expect, to help you select walks appropriate to your current fitness level.
