The schedule of walks is now in a table format. Each month's table contains the date, time, walk name,
level and meeting point. The meeting points refer to the numbered meeting points shown in the information booklet.
Some meeting points have several walks starting from that location so you will also need to observe the other information
including: level, gradient, whether stiles are present, suggested footwear and what sort of surface to expect,
to help you select walks appropriate to your current fitness level.
"Broadland Health Walks
We are pleased to announce that we have now expanded to be able to offer walks throughout Broadland in addition to the usual programme of walks.
|
From September, there will be three led walks a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. 29 routes in towns and villages have been risk assessed and prepared throughout Broadland,
including lovely walks in locations such as Aylsham, Acle, Reepham, Coltishall, Cawston, Marsham, Blickling, Buxton and Burlingham; walks leaders from the Norwich Fringe Health walks programme have been organised to help get the initiative started, all we need now are some walkers.
The walks are graded in the same way as the Norwich Fringe Health walks, and the dates are included in the Newsletter.
